Damir Wade, 14, passed away on Friday December 9, at his residence. He was the son of William and Collette (Weyers) Wade. Damir was born on March 4, 2002 in Kazakhstan. He was a ninth grade student at Hoosick Falls High School, where played soccer and was excited to participate in a new cross country program. Damir had the talent and strength to be in a triathlon through his enjoyment of swimming, running and bicycling..
Survivors other than his parents include his brother Stefan Wade, grandparents William and Brenda Wade of Petersburgh, NY, Joseph and Kathryn Brown of Manchester, VT and Richard Weeden of Petersburgh, NY, he is also survived by several aunts,uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Damir's life will be held on Saturday December 17 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the HAYC3 building on Church Street in Hoosick Falls. All are welcome to share their memories and happy thoughts. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Second Chance Animal Shelter of Shaftsbury, VT or the H.F.C.S. cross country team through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, who are handling the arrangements.
