Donald M. Miclette, 65, passed away peacefully at his home on Ives Hill Road, Tuesday May 30th  at 5:16 am.  He is survived by his best friend and loving wife Jeanette (Sprague) Miclette.

Donald was born on November 24, 1957, in Cambridge, NY, son of the late Louis H. Sr. and Harriet “Breezy” (Harrington) Miclette.  He graduated from Hoosick Valley High School.  Donald worked at Peckham for many years and founded JD Enterprises Landscaping.  He was a Jack of All Trades, and enjoyed woodworking, working on tractors and riding motorcycles.

Survivors other than his wife Jeanette include their sons Corey and Dan Miclette, grandson Jameson Miclette all of Valley Falls, NY, sister Colleen (Katie) Miclette of Bennington, VT, brothers Louis H. Miclette Jr, of Colorado, Arthur (Terry) Miclette of Crown Point, NY, John (Christine) Miclette of Hoosick Falls, NY, and Jim (Lynne) Miclette of Johnsonville, NY also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday June 3rd at 2:00 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.  Burial will follow the service in the Easton Rural Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 -2:00 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Glens Falls Cancer Center through the funeral home.  Donald left this world loved and with his family by his side.
