Duncan Cook, 61, passed away on Sunday May 21st at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.  He resided on River Street with his wife Jean (Weatherwax) Cook

Duncan was born on January 31, 1962, in Fresno, California, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Campbell) Cook.  He attended schools in Fresno and was employed at Lydall in Hoosick Falls.  Duncan enjoyed fishing, hunting, family gatherings, bonfires, the New York Giants, NASCAR his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr. and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Jean, children Edward Cook, Crystal (Jeff) Brock, grandchildren Ryan Brock, Elliott Cook, Gabby and Kevin Brock, Cameron Hughes, siblings Herb (Mary) Ballard, Ruth (Rodger)Sutton, Ella Ballard, Chuck (Val) Cook, Marye (John) Cook also several nieces and nephews.  Duncan is predeceased by a son Jeffrey Michael Cook who passed away on March 12, 2023.

Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street on Saturday May 27th, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm from the funeral home.
