Kevin S. Dewey, 61, passed away on Thursday May 4th at the Essex Center in Elizabeth, New York.  He resided with his wife Cindy (Lockrow) Dewey on Spicer Road.

Kevin was born on May 29, 1961, in Bennington, VT, son of Ronald and Carol (White) Dewey.  He graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School.  Kevin owned and operated Dewey’s Auto on Main Street in Hoosick Falls for several years.  He also worked at several car dealerships in the area over the years.  Kevin enjoyed camping, canoeing, and working on cars.

Survivors other than his wife Cindy, their son Joshua Dewey, his parents Ronald and Carol Dewey, siblings Anita (Dennis) Murry and Karen (Rory) Whitman.

Funeral services will be private.  Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
