Obituary for Richard F "Skip" North Sr.

Richard “Skip” F. North Sr., 76, died peacefully at home with family on Saturday, March 18, 2023. He and his wife Laurie, recently returned “home” after living many years in Preston Ct.

Skip was born on November 28, 1946, in Bennington Vermont, son of the late James W. and Delora (Morey) North, Sr. He was educated at the one-room schoolhouse in Potter Hill and Hoosick Falls Central High School. Through out his lifetime Skip enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing and was an excellent marksman with both rifle and bow. Many tales of adventures and conquests were shared fondly with family and lifelong friends. Skip was a loving family man and friend to many, proud husband, father and grandfather.
