James Michael Keegan, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday February 16th at the age of 80 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Hoosick Falls, New York to Charles M. Keegan and Margaret (O'Neill) Keegan.

Jim is survived by his wife, Anne; sister, Mary (John) Schmigel; his children Brian (Lauren MacPherson) and Sean (LeeAnn) Keegan; as well as four cherished grandchildren--Aileen, Seamus, Lochlann, and Eamon--and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim proudly served in the National Guard and would tell tales of running tanks during training. He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College and worked at Niagara Mohawk as an electrical designer. Not only did he find a career there, he found a calling as a member of the Community Resource Federal Credit Union in addition to lifelong friends.

Jim was a member of the Immaculate Conception parish, a fisherman, a soccer coach, a treasurer, a willing chauffeur, a jack-of-all-trades, and above all, a good man.

Jim was known for his friendly personality and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Community Hospice for their care and support of Jim. In his memory, donations can be made to them through the funeral home.
