John 'Jack' Valentine of Hoosick Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, at the age of 83. He was born August 10, 1938 in Hoosick Falls, NY a son of George and Jenny (Russell) Valentine.

Jack was an avid Yankees fan and also enjoyed coin collecting, bowling, playing cards with friends, taking walks around town and spending time with his grandson.

He proudly served 26 years in Det 1 Co C 1Bn 210th Armor NYARNG at the State Armory located in his hometown; earning many commendations for his distinguished service to his unit, state and country.

Jack is survived by his son, John Valentine Jr; five sisters:  Irene, Verna, Shirley, Joan and Beatrice; numerous nieces and nephews; and by his grandson John Valentine III.

Services were held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon/Saratoga National Cemetery.
