Richard “Rick” S. Motsiff, 73, passed away on September 9, 2022. He resided on Saratoga Street in Hoosick Falls. He was born on January 21, 1949, in Hoosick Falls son of the late Stanley and Zita (Govone) Motsiff.

Rick was educated at schools in Hoosick Falls and served in the United States Air Force. He was formerly employed at Oak Mitsui in Hoosick Falls until retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casino's and time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include his sister Nelma (Robert) Lane of Saratoga Springs, NY, nephew Andrew Lane, great niece Madelyn also several cousins.

Funeral services will be Saturday September 24th, at 12:00 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hoosick Falls, NY.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
