Dustin Seamus Dwyer, 32 years old, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Dustin was born on August 4, 1989 in Bennington, Vermont to Phillip Dwyer and Vicki (Sprague) Dwyer.

A lifelong resident of West Hoosick, NY, he graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School in 2007 and then went on to study business at Paul Smiths College where he graduated in 2012.

Dustin worked for SRI Fire Sprinkler in Albany, NY and was nearing the end of his sprinkler fitter apprenticeship. We believe he had found his niche; he liked going to work, took pride in his work and was genuinely friends with his co-workers.

In Dustin’s free time, he enjoyed lake life at Hedges and Babcock Lakes, along with golfing, playing pool, and watching TV with Rosie and Ruby. He was generous and always up for helping anyone with anything they needed. Dustin had a smile and a laugh that no one will ever forget. Above all else, Dustin enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by his sister Michaela and his brother-in-law Wes Lisek of Weymouth, MA. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Bob and JoAnn Dwyer of Chazy, NY; Joe and Sue Sprague of Wasilla, AK; Debbi Sprague and Larry Rangel of Shell Beach, CA; Jeff and Ally Sprague of Goffstown, NH; great-aunts Deanie Morrison and Marcy (Bob) Strybos of Bluffton, SC and many cousins and friends. Dustin is now happily reunited with his maternal grandparents, Barb and Malcolm (Muck) Sprague, paternal grandparents, Eileen and Jack Dwyer, and uncles Jimmy, Tim, and Jack Dwyer.

Friends and family may call at the bottom floor of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls, NY on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A short prayer service at the church and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will immediately follow.
