It is with great sadness and much regret that we announce Dennis P. Allen, 47, passed away on Tuesday June 21st, in Chester, NY. He lived on Cobble Hill Road in North Hoosick with his wife Jennifer (Wilt) Allen and five year old son, Hunter. 

Dennis was born on July 1, 1974, in Memphis, TN, son of Judy (Allen) McGowan and the late Reginald Allen. He graduated from Hoosick Falls Central High School, and attended the University of Technology Institute. Dennis was a mechanic/operator, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union # 1249, as well as a previous member of the North Hoosick Fire Department. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles.

Dennis left behind his wife Jennifer Allen, son Hunter Allen, brothers Bryan Allen and Chris Meadows, sister Rebecca Leader, as well as step sister Melissa, and step brothers Brian, David and Christopher.

A Celebration of Dennis life will be held on July 23rd, at the North Hoosick Fire Department from 2:00-4:00pm.
