Doris I. (Furlow) Griffin, 88, passed away on Sunday June 5th, at the Albany Medical Center after an extended illness. She resided at the Danforth Adult Care Center in Hoosick Falls.

Doris was born on July 23, 1933, in Sinclairville, NY, daughter of the late Howard Samuel and Angie Viola (Caulkins) Furlow. She made Falconer, NY and Sugar Grove, PA, her home for many years.

Doris enjoyed attending church functions and Bible Studies. Doris also like to listen to country music and watching the Mountain Depot Band perform. On February 14, 2002 she married the love of her life Phillip Griffin, who predeceased her on June 17, 2017.

Doris is survived by her sons Kenneth (Charlene) Mesel, Norman (Penny) Mesel, Patrick (Carol) Buck and daughter Constance (John) Sellers. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by infant son Brian Buck, infant daughter Caroline Buck, grandson Brian Mesel and two brothers Richard and Rollin Furlow.

Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls, NY.
