Michael (Mike) J. Blair, 69, of Buskirk, passed away at his residence on June 14th 2022 surrounded by loved ones after a difficult battle with cancer. Mike was born on December 14, 1952 to Kathryn (Gagnon) & Charles Blair of Cohoes. In 1972 he saw Sue, the love of his life at the Guptill's roller rink and they wed in 1977, going on to have their miracle baby Casey. He loved to hunt, fish, play texas hold'em, camp, go on cruises and was on the BBQ Bowling League in Hoosick Falls for many years. He was an OTR Service Technician for Terry Haggerty Tire and McCarthy Tire for 42 years, where he was known as the King of his trade. He retired in 2018. Mike is survived by his wife Susan Blair (DeTraglia), daughter Casey Huhndorf (Blair), son-in-law Sidney Huhndorf of Kenai AK, and brothers Dan (Betsy) Blair of Troy, Chuck (Donna) Blair of Berlin, Joe (Delena) Blair of Cohoes, Doug (Robin) Blair of Cohoes and late brother Christopher Blair. Viewing hours for family and friends will be held at Mahar Funeral Home (43 Main St. Hoosick Falls, NY) on Saturday June 18th from 1-3 p.m. until the start of the service. A celebration of life will follow the service at the Eagles in Hoosick Falls on 1st St. Memorial contributions can be sent to Cambridge Valley or Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home
