Frances M. Grant, 80, passed away on Friday June 10th, at the Bennington Health & Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Royal Grant who passed several years ago.

Frances was born on June 28, 1941, in Cambridge, NY, daughter of the late Robert and Emily (Gates) Starr. She attended schools in Cambridge and was a homemaker all of her life. Frances was a avid Elvis fan, enjoyed time with her family, NASCAR and watching television.

Survivors include her daughters Marilyn (John) Duket of North Hoosick, NY, Christie Grant of Hoosick Falls and Shanna (Ray) Gates of White Creek, NY, her brother Bill (Sandy) Starr of Texas, sister Helen Matte, sister in-law Donna Starr, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, and two brothers Bob and Ervin Starr.

Funeral services will be Thursday June 16th, at 11:00 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow the service at the Center White Creek Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the start of the service.
