John R. Brillon, 84, passed away on Thursday March 10th at his residence on Harrington Road. He resided there with his companion Marion Bourn whom passed several years ago.

John was born on July 23, 1937, in Bennington, VT, son of the late James V. and Geneva Lillian (Granger) Brillon. He attended schools in Bennington. John was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1955 – 1958. He was employed at Bennington College for thirty-eight years in the food service department. Survivors include his brothers Gerald, Joseph (Sally) Brillon also many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held later in the spring at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge, NY. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY
