Miss Helen E. Hogan, 82, a resident of North Hoosick died on February 13, 2022, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a long illness.

She was born in Bennington, VT, on September 14, 1939, daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Ward) Hogan. She received her education in local schools. In earlier years Helen had been employed at Dodge Industries and the Pownal Racetrack.

Helen's main interest was the operation of her 4th generation family farm, the Ward family farm on Cobble Hill Road in North Hoosick. She also enjoyed gardening, crafts and riding her ATV with her dog Ozzie.

She is survived by her close companion of forty-five years Donald E. Howard, a cousin Geri Connors of South Carolina and Geri's children Matthew and Jenna.

A graveside service is planned for the spring. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
