Marilyn W. Haynes, 84, passed away on Thursday February 3rd, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. She resided on Ball Street in Hoosick Falls and was the wife of the late Lou Haynes who passed several years ago.

Marilyn was born on August 3, 1937, in Hoosick Falls, daughter of the late William and Mary (Williams) Wallace. She was educated at schools in Hoosick Falls. Marilyn worked at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, VT, in the housekeeping department. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. Marilyn enjoyed her cats and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children Desiree (Al) Brock of Buskirk, NY, Lance Haynes of Massachusetts, Dmitri Haynes of Virginia, and Kelly (Nancy) Haynes of Hoosick Falls, sister Patricia Corbett of Bennington, VT, sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Wallace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday February 15th, at 10:00 am, from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will be at the convenience of the family

Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
