Obituary for Terri Miller (Decker)

Terri Miller (Decker), 57, a resident of Hoosick Falls, passed away after a long hard battle with cancer on January 25th, 2022 surrounded by family.

Terri was born on July 14th, 1964 in Bennington, VT to the late Jean and Edward Decker. She attended Hoosick Falls Central School. She was a lifelong learner who enjoyed asking questions.

She worked many jobs throughout her life, but her one true passion was coaching youth cheerleading. She was so proud of all of her girls and the ladies they have become. She bragged about those girls as if they were her own kids. Terri loved doing her make-up and creating online videos. She was ahead of her time and made friends on the internet, before it was cool. For that reason, she had many friends all around the world!

Terri is survived by her three children, their partners, and six grandchildren, who she loved with all of her heart. Daughter: Erin Michaels, husband Jason, and their two kids Tristan and Korben. Daughter: Haley Keech, husband Brian, and their daughter Eliza. Son: Glenn Milliman, partner Megan, and their kids Glenn, Carson, and Addie.

Terri loved her siblings deeply: Jane Ellis, Pat Decker, Jimmy Decker, and Curt Decker. She had many nieces and nephews she kept close to her heart (Gina, Zach, Amara, Ivy, Abigail, Angel, Stephanie, Brandon, Andrew, Jackson, and Amanda). While she had many loves of her life, she leaves behind John Harwood.

Terri, you will always be at the top of our pyramid and in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, on Monday January 31st, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. If you so desire, contributions in honor of Terri Miller can be made to the EC Fund through the funeral home. Terri knew the importance of youth sports and the impact it had on her children.
