Obituary for Walter J. "Wally" Sprague III
Walter “Wally” J. Sprague III, 53, passed suddenly on December 14th, at his residence of natural causes. He resided on Cummings Street with father Walter J. Sprague Jr., and son of the late Penelope (McKeon) Sprague who passed in 2016.
Wally was born on September 30, 1968, in Bennington, VT and graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School, class of 1986. He was employed for 13 years with T. Masonary in Hoosick Falls. Tracey Moore was not only Wally's employer but also very close friend.
Survivors other than his father Walter Jr., include his brother Brian (Florence) Sprague of Hoosick Falls, nieces MacKenzie and Madison Sprague of Hoosick Falls, nephews Michael Sprague of Hoosick Falls and Matthew (Allie) Sprague of Clarksville, TN, a great niece Addison and close friends Calin Davendonis and Irv Cross.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter or the Humane Society of your choice, through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street who are handling the arrangements.
