Obituary for Martha C. O'Dell
Martha C. O'Dell, 74, passed away on Wednesday October 13th, at the Bennington Health & Rehab Center in Bennington, Vermont. She resided with her husband Richard O'Dell on NY 22.
Martha was born on November 15, 1946, in Berlin, New York daughter of the late Harvey and Bessie (Thurston) Jones. She attended schools in Berlin, New York and was formerly employed at the Pownal Tannery. Martha enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and latch hooking rugs. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors other than her husband Richard include her step children Robin Jones, Tanya Saintway, Heidi Miller, Jeffrey, Bruce, James and Scott O'Dell, sisters Margaret Hicks and Shirley Insco, brother Steven Jones.
Funeral services will be Tuesday October 19th, at 11:00 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. New York. Burial will follow the service at the Berlin Community Cemetery, Berlin, New York.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad or the Petersburg Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
