Obituary for Karen Thomas (Milliman)
Karen (Milliman) Thomas, passed away on Thursday June 3rd, at the age of 73, at the Albany Medical Center. She resided on Railroad Avenue in Hoosick Falls.
Karen was born on July 21, 1947, in Hoosick Falls to Guy and Anne (Cullen) Milliman. She is survived by her sister Lois Milliman, her three sons, Eric Thomas, Jason Thomas and Brett and Tara Thomas, seven grandchildren Kial, Emma, Morgan Thomas, Kainoa Lealao-Thomas, Pippa, Roman and Stella Thomas.
Karen was a beloved teacher's assistant for twenty-five years at Hoosick Falls Central School, where she also coached Soccer and Cheerleading. Karen loved to be social with her friends and family. She was known for her happy attitude and kind compassionate spirit. Her little dog, Miz Ruby, was always by her side. She will be missed so much by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday June 11th, at 10:00 am, from the Immaculate Conception Church (parish hall), on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow the mass at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hoosick Falls. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls.
A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held on Saturday June 12th, 1:00pm, at Brett & Tara's Home on 25 Ashleigh Lane, Saratoga Springs, NY.
