First met Gordy February 3, 1979 at the Fort Plain VFW Post when the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Grand Aerie assigned him as the Instituting Officer, granting the Canajoharie - Boiling Pot Aerie #3846 their charter and declaring the new Aerie members - Charter Members. Over these many years he has been a true Eagle friend and Brother. Gordy became a member on November 11, 1961 and every day he was a member you could count on his help and assistance. Over his almost 60 years as a Eagle, he had many. many fund raisers for those in Hoosick Falls and those in need. Thank you Gordy for your guidance, support, kindness and help. You taught many to love, honor, respect and assist everyone. Bob Yager
