Dalas E. Millett, 26, passed away on Thursday January 21st, in Cohoes, NY. She was the daughter of Joanie Millett of Waterford, NY and Kim Byrd of Adams, MA.
Dalas was born on November 13, 1994, in Albany, NY. She attended St. Pius elementary, graduated from Catholic High School and received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Mildred Elley College. Dallas was employed at the Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home in Troy, NY. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, summer camp at Emma Willard School and was a communicant of St Pius X Church in Loudonville, NY.
Survivors other than her mother and father include her son Xander J. Fitzgerald, her companion T.J. Fitzgerald, brother Schyler Tostes all of Waterford, NY, grandmother Jeanne “Mams” Millett of Cambridge, NY, step-father Bruno Tostes of Latham, NY, half-sisters Karilynn Dufur of Greenfield, MA and Arica Griffen of Cheshire, MA. She was predeceased by her grandfather James "Poppie" Millett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday January 27th, at 12:00 (noon) from St. Pius X Church in Loudonville, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Tuesday January 26th, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Masks, social distancing and crowd limitations will be adhered to at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Xander J. Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund through the funeral home.
