Obituary for Harold "Tommy" Thurber
Harold “Tommy” Thurber, 66, passed away on Thursday October 7th,2020, at the Berkshire Medical Center. Formerly of Hoosick Falls, NY, he resided on Main Street in Bennington.
Tommy was born on December 11, 1953, in Bennington son of the late Edward and Kathryn (Tilton) Thurber. He attended H.F.C.S. He was formerly employed at Walt's Taxi in Bennington. While residing in Hoosick Falls Tommy was a member of the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad and the Hoosick Falls Fire Department.
He is survived by his siblings Theresa Thurber of Hoosick Falls, NY, and Edward Thurber of Florida, his nephew James Thurber of Hoosick Falls also several cousins.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.
