William H. O'Dell, 87, passed away on Monday June 8th at the Centers for Nursing &Rehabilitation. He formerly resided on Elm Street in Hoosick Falls with His wife Marie(Woodard) O'Dell.

William was born on April 16, 1933, in Troy New York, son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Brownell) O'Dell. Bill ran his own upholstery shop in the Village of Hoosick Falls. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40 He enjoyed bowling and camping with his family.

Survivors other than his wife Marie are his children, Richard O'Dell (Kathy), Bennington, Randal O'Dell (Donna), Hoosick Falls, Loren O'Dell(Linda), Hoosick Falls, stepson Loren Durkey, South Dakota, stepdaughter Shirley Fedler(Charles) Cambridge, Donna Poulen(John) Bennington, brothers Robert O'Dell, White Creek, Dick(Digger) O'Dell Hoosick Falls and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a stepson Gordon Durkey, brother John O'Dell, three sisters Betty Peret, Mary Jane O'Dell and Barbara Zagorski.

The funeral service will take place at the G.B.H.S. Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 40 through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street Hoosick Falls, New York ,12090
