Obituary for Ruth H. DeTraglia
Ruth H. DeTraglia, 99, passed away on Wednesday February 19th,at the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls, she was surrounded by her family. Ruth was the wife of the late Frank DeTraglia, who died in July of 2014.
Ruth was born on June 5, 1920, in Troy, NY, daughter of the lateJulian and Helen(DeLorme) McQuade. She was educated in schools inWatervliet, NY and was a homemaker all of her life. Ruth enjoyed watching western's and wrestling on television, most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.
Survivors include her children Mary King(Michael), of Eagle Bridge, NY, Susan Blair(Mike), of Buskirk, NY, Michael DeTraglia(Theresa), of Eagle Bridge, NY and Frankie DeTraglia, of Albany, NY also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by three brother William, Edward and Earl McQuade as well as a daughter-in-law Marlene DeTraglia.
Funeral services will be February 24, at 1:00 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow the service at Island Hill Cemetery, Buskirk, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen and Molly McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
