Everyone in life has their hero's. Ed was definitely one of my biggest hero's. After meeting Ed in 1979, I was instantly amazed with Ed's knowledge of the outdoors. His willingness to teach and share that knowledge, was amazing. He taught both young and old about the outdoors. Ed's friendship and advice is something I will always cherish. As Tim Holt put it, Ed was the grandfather we wished we all had. He was a friend and mentor to a lot of us. Yes, Ed is my hero, and will be forever. Jim Carmody
