Obituary for William F. "Butch" Ellis
William F. “Butch” Ellis, 55, passed away on Thursday February 7th at his residence on the East Hoosick Road. He resided there with his wife Suzzanne (Jancek) Ellis.
Butch was born on August 8, 1963, in Bennington, Vermont son of William J. Ellis and the late Sandra (Thompson) Ellis. He was formerly employed at Snyder Printing in Troy, NY. He liked to hunt and fish, was a master of many trades, but most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family.
Survivors other than his wife and father include daughters Lauren, Andrea, Gina and Jackie, sons Jerry, Zack and Tony, sister Lori, brothers Tim, David, Jerry and Chris also survived by thirteen grandchildren and his step-mother Lynn Ellis. He was predeceased by a brother John.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
