Obituary for Kathleen A. Metcalfe
Kathleen A. Metcalfe, 72, passed away on Friday January 4th at her residence on Cummings Street in Hoosick Falls. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Mary (Dupee) Kapin.
Kathleen was born on June 5, 1946, in Bennington, Vermont. She was employed at Energizer in Bennington. Kathleen enjoyed sewing, loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters Crystal Pierce (Jeffrey) of Pownal, VT, Sonja Metcalfe of Hoosick Falls, NY, son James Metcalfe (Eleanor) of Bennington, VT, brothers James Mason of Maryland and Hyland Capin Sr., of Bennington, VT, also five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 17th, at 1:00 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second chance Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
