Obituary for Nelson A. Barney
Nelson A. Barney Sr., 74, passed away on Thursday December 20th at his residence on Fiske Street in Hoosick Falls. He was the son of the late Harold and Eileen (Remilard) Barney.
Nelson was born on July 23, 1944, in Bennington, VT and attended schools there. He was a Handyman in the local area for several years. He enjoyed riding his tricycle and scooter around Hoosick Falls.
Nelson is survived by his Fiance' Irene Young, daughters Terry Lee, Lisa Frazier, Felicia Barney, sons Nelson A. Barney Jr. and Lee Barney, sister Rose Churchill, brothers Harold, Joseph and Douglas Barney, also several grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday December 28th at 11:00 am, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick
Falls, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
