Message to the Family: We are so saddened to hear about the loss of Burt. He was a a good man who found so many things to enjoy in life, from his music to his beloved family to his various volunteer activities. It was just a few months ago, we took him out for his retirement lunch in Manchester. So tragic that his life was cut short. We will miss his laugh and the our outings each year to hear him play Tuba in band shell each summer. It was so much fun to watch the girls dance to the music and watch him play. ”
