Obituary for Rosemary Kipp

Rosemary Kipp, 86, passed away on Friday April 27, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont. She resided on Munsell Street in Hoosick Falls and was the wife of the late Andrew Kipp.

Rosemary was born on December 13, 1931, in Troy, New York, daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Darby) Humphrey. She was a homemaker all of her life raising her six children. Rosemary was also very involved with the Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and the Hoosick Falls Fire Department Auxiliary. She belonged to the Disabled Veterans Association and was a lady Shriner.

Survivors include her children Judy (Mike) Rancourt of Hoosick Falls, NY Helen (Ron) Morin of Southern California, Carol (Scott) Wilwol of Hoosick Falls, NY, Andrew (Sharon) Kipp and Jeffery (Diana) Kipp all of Hoosick Falls and Jon (Tammy) Kipp of Chatham, NY, her twin siblings Harold & Helen Humphrey of Troy, NY, six grandchildren , seven great grandchildren. Rosemary is predeceased by two grandsons Jeremy Wilwol and Michael Rancourt.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 1st, at 10:00 am, from the Mahar Funeral home, 43 Main street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday April 30 form 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Rensselaer county Community hospice or the Shriner's Hospital through the Funeral Home.
