Jean M. Arnold, 73, passed away on Thursday November 16th at the Bennington Health & Rehab Center in Bennington, Vermont. She was the wife of the late Edward Decker.
Jean was born on January 17, 1944 in Hoosick Falls, daughter of the late James and Marion (Ross) Arnold. She was educated at schools in Hoosick Falls and was employed as a Nurses Aid at the Hoosick Falls Health Center for many years. Jean was interested in Genealogy.
Survivors include her children Jane Ellis of Buskirk, NY, Terri (Jason) Miller of Merriam, KA, James (Linda) Decker ans Kurt Decker all of Hoosick Falls , Patrick Decker of Cohoes, NY, sister Joan (Tom) McAndrews of Cambridge, NY, grandchildren Gina and Zack Ellis, Erin Michaels, Haley Keech, Glenn Milliman, Stephanie and Brandon Decker, Amanda, Andrew and Jackson Decker, Chloe, Ivy, Abigail and Angel Decker, great grandchildren Tristan and Korben Michaels, Eliza Keech, Glenn and Carson Milliman, Lilly and Silas Ellis. Jean is predeceased by a half brother Fr. Renee.
Funeral services will be Saturday November 25th at 1:00 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
