Thomas N. Chirasello Sr., 64 passed away on Friday September 29, at his residence on Pine Valley Road in Hoosick Falls.

Tom was born in Mahopac, New York, on May 22, 1953, the son of the late Nickolas and Della (Jones) Chirasello. He worked as a custodian at the Hoosick Falls Central School. Tom was also a farmer throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his time spent on the farm.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary (Coon) Chirasello of Shusan, New York, his son Thomas (Nicole) Chirasello Jr., his grandchildren Emma Rose and Tyler Chirasello all of Hoosick Falls, his two brothers Nickolas Chirasello and John Chirasello and his sister Janet (Ron) Perrotti Gore.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 4, at 2:00 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 pm till the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen and Molly McGovern Fund or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
