Condolences

Condolence From: Michael DiGiorgio
Condolence: In searching Wayne's name, I sadly came across this notice. Wayne way my first introduction into the world of nature art. I went to visit him while he worked at the Conservationist and showed him my paintings. Amateurish as they were, he gladly spent time with me. He even commented that one of my pieces was copied from his work, and laughed! I was also fortunate to spend time in Trinidad with Wayne and Melody in the early 80s. We had a wonderful time touring the island, and becoming friends.
I'll never forget him, he was generous, kind, and extremely talented. He spent his life creating beauty, what more can we ask for? Goodbye old friend and thank you.

Condolence From: Wayne Jones
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Melodee and the Trimm Family. Wayne was a big influence on my life, through his work in the Conservationist Magazine, and as a leader for conservation and education in the field of bowhunting. I first met Wayne through his son Tracy when I attended ESF (then the College of Forestry). After that, Wayne and I worked together as fellow members of archery organizations, and later when I had the privilege to work with him at DEC. After he retired from DEC he remained active in conservation projects, freely donating his time, knowledge and talents. I always admired how he pursued his interests in a big way, but with humility. He made major contributions without seeking recognition. The examples he set, as well as the art that he left us, will live on.
