Mabelanna Hendry, 86, passed away on Friday June 8th, at the Watson House in North Bennington, Vermont. She was the wife of the late William Johnstone Hendry who died in 1997.

Mabelanna was born on July 24, 1931, in Pittstown, New York, daughter of the late Edgar and Julia (Dick) Hunt. She was a homemaker and “MOM” all of her life.

Survivors include her children William Robert Hendry of Buskirk and Clara Ann Hendry of PA, brothers James (Rita) Hunt of Eagle Bridge, NY, Robert (Dianne) Hunt of North Hoosick, NY and her grandchildren Eric Justin and Ashley Rose Steinberg also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday June 15th at 12:00 (noon) from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the start of the service. Burial will follow the service at the West Hoosick Cemetery, West Hoosick, NY. Please wear bright colored clothing.
