Gail R. Gardner, 78, passed away on Thursday April 5th, at the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls. She was the wife of Leroy Gardner who resides on Beechwood Road.

Gail was born on July 12, 1939, in Bennington, Vermont, daughter of the late James and Marion (Dean) White. Gail worked in the Cafeteria at Hoosick Falls Central School for several years.

Gail enjoyed sewing, playing cards, and going out to lunch with her friends and family. Most of all, Gail loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended and supported all their sporting and school events. She loved going on family vacations to the ocean. Picnics and family gatherings were her absolute favorite.

Survivors other than her husband Leroy include their sons Jeffery (Melissa) Gardner, Dennis (Barbara) Gardner and Brian Gardner all of Hoosick Falls,NY also four grandchildren, Justin, Julianne, Kathy and Emily. Gail is predeceased by a sister Joan Hand and a brother Alan White.

Funeral services will be Wednesday April 11th, at 2:00 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow the service at Hoosick Rural Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
