David H. Waters, 64, passed away on Sunday February 11th at St Peter's Hospital in Albany, New York. He was the husband of Sharron (Moulton) Waters who resides on Tamarac Road.
David was born on August 8th , 1953 in Troy, New York, son of the late Harry and Doris (Shellard) Waters. David worked for the N.Y.S. Transportation Department for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Vietnam Vets/ Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club and the Powamppokonk Gun Club. David enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to flea markets, weekly auctions, spelunking, canoeing, hiking all with family and spending time with his dog “Benny”.
Survivors other than his wife Sharron include their daughter Heather (Mike) Daigneault of Buskirk, NY, son Dameon (Karen) Church on Elkton, FL, sister Marilyn (Warren) Fane of Troy, NY, brothers Kenneth (Carole) Waters of Ash Flat, AK, Randy (Lynn) Waters of Poestenkill, NY, and brother-in-law Robert Young. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends Bob and Nancy Hardesty and John and Lori Burt. David is predeceased by a son Jason E. Waters, sister Linda Young and brother Donald Waters.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York on Saturday February 17th from 1:00-3:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm from the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Voice of the Vet through the funeral home.
