Mary (Cusack) Slingerland, 91, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls, NY. She was the wife of the late Milton Homer Slingerland.
The daughter of James and Anna (Burns) Cusack, Mary was born on March 3, 1926 in Hoosick Falls, NY. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Red Hats. Mary thoroughly enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends and family.
Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Slingerland (Jean) of Hoosick Falls, and Francis Slingerland (Bridget) of Burnt Hills; grandchildren Maria and Victoria Comella, Ryan Slingerland, Katie Slingerland Kozlowski (Nick), Jess Slingerland Haskell (Ty), Lauren and Michael Slingerland, and great grandson Ellis Peter Kozlowski. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews of the Cusack family and her cousin Rosemarie Peters (Pete). Mary was predeceased by her daughter Ann Marie Comella and brother James Cusack.
The burial will be at the convenience of the family. The arrangements are under the Mahar Funeral home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Activity Department through the funeral home.
