Howard B. Jones, 85, passed away on Monday January 8th at his home in
Buskirk, New York surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Blanche
(Sherman) Jones, they were married on November 12, 1954.

Howard was born on October 3rd, 1932, in Berlin, New York, son the late
Harold and Nora (Brown) Jones. He was employed at Columbia Box for many
years. Howard was a member of the Eagle Bridge Methodist Church. He enjoyed
spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and attending to his gardens.

Survivors other than his wife Blanche include his sons Howard Jones Jr. of Palatka, FL., Paul Jones (Kim Burdick) of Hoosick Falls, NY, Douglas Jones (Zelda Fishell) of Stephens City,VA, daughter Lynn Jones (Ellis) of Buskirk, NY, sister Dorothy Stewart of Las Vegas, NV, brother Harold Jones of Peterburg, NY, his daughter-in-law Cindy Jones, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Harold Jones, two sisters Agnes and Ruth and two brothers George and Alric.

Funeral services will be Thursday January 11th at 1:00 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am till the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Hoosick Fire Department through the funeral home.
