Irene S. Pagel, 89 passed away on June 28. Irene was the wife of
Gunther Pagel, they resided at Beechwood apartments in Troy, New York.
The Pagels formerly lived in Hoosick Falls, New York.

Irene was born on December 15,1926 in Valley Stream, New York, daughter of the late Maxwell and Mildred(Kircher) Voight. She was a retired Professor of Nursing
from Adephi University in Garden City, New York. She was a volunteer for many
years at the Bennington Museum and a avid reader throughout her life.

Survivors other then her husband Gunther are a sister Dorothy McKechnie of
Shaftsbury, Vermont . She was predeceased by a sister Kathleen Bertolino.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 2, at 11:00 am from the Mahar
Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Burial will follow the service at the Hoosick Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral
home on Saturday from 10:00 am till the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Museum through the funeral home.
