Kenneth J. “KJ” Sbrega Jr., 43 passed away on Thursday May 19, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He resided on Pine Street in Hoosick Falls. Kenneth was the son of Kenneth J. and Elizabeth (Dooley) Sbrega Sr. of Hoosick Falls.
Kenneth was born on March 14, 1973, in Troy, New York. He attended Hoosick Falls High School and in his earlier years was employed at Fairdale Farms in Bennington, Vermont. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, fishing, working with his father scraping, NASCAR racing, going to races with his brother and building race cars.
Survivors other than his parents include his sons Joshua Sbrega of MA., and Kian Sbrega of VT., step-daughter Ashley Toramino of MA., sister Lisa Sbrega of Hoosick Falls, NY and brother Eric Sbrega of North Hoosick, NY, also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Monday May 23 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral Home. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Kidney Foundation or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
