John “Jack” W. Roberson Sr. 64, passed away on July 2, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont. He resided at Lake Lauderdale.
Jack was born on April 18, 1950 in Troy, New York, son of the late Harold and Bernice (Burgess) Roberson. He was a self-employed contractor in the Hoosick Falls area. Jack enjoyed spending time at Lake Lauderdale with his family and friends. He was also a member of The American Legion in Cambridge, New York as well as an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include daughters Renee Harrington, Melissa Bohmer, Shannon Roberson and Shelley Roberson, son John Roberson Jr., significant other Debbie Brahn, mother of his children Laura Roberson, sisters Barbara DeLuca (Albert), Sue Perovich (Gary), brothers Gene (Donna), Donald and William Roberson. Jack is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with their expenses.
