Helen M. Novak 91, passed away on Wednesday June 25, at the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls. She resided on Hurley Street and was the wife of the late Frank P. Novak Sr., who died in 1997.
Helen was born on August 15, 1922 in Hoosick Falls, New York, daughter of the late Roman and Stella (Kleasua) Wrubleski. She attended schools in Hoosick Falls and was a homemaker all of her life. Helen enjoyed being with her family and friends and like to help when ever she could. She also enjoyed gardening and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Survivors include her son Frank P. Novak Jr. wife Nancy of Waterford, NY, grandchildren Richie, Ashley, Brian, Jeanine and Sean Novak. Helen is predeceased by her son Richard Novak who died in 1987, two sisters Lucy Wrubleski and Stacia Provensal and a brother Frank Wrubleski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday June 30, at 10:00 am from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Sunday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
