Margaret E. Olszewski 83, passed away on Tuesday May 13 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont. She resided on Meads Road in Buskirk.
Margaret was born on June 3, 1930, in New Canaan, Connecticut, daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (Nesbid) Stradinger. She was educated at schools in New Canaan and was employed at Michaels Restaurant in Stanford, CT, as a waitress. Margaret enjoyed animals, was a member of the V.F.W. In Hoosick Falls. She was a great mother and was loved by everyone. Margaret was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Cambridge, NY.
Survivors include her son Alex Olszewski of Buskirk, NY, sister Sandy Suitile of Darien, CT, brother Louis Albert Stradinger Jr., wife Sue and granddaughter Alexis Olszewski. She is predeceased by two sisters Ann Lawless and Barbara Stradinger.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
